Syracuse, NY Police: Suspect in Syracuse Shooting Was “Crazy”

On Wednesday, the New York Police Department released the following statement: “We have received the initial reports of a shooting at the Syracuse University campus.

As we have stated previously, there is no indication of a threat at this time.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the New Yorkers Police Department at 1-800-577-TIPS.

Anyone who sees anyone matching the description is urged in a non-threatening manner to call 911.”

The Associated Press adds that Syracuse police were “working with state and local authorities” and the city is in “advanced communication” with law enforcement agencies.

Syracuse is a small city in northeastern New York state.

The Syracuse Daily News reports that a witness who lives in the area told the newspaper that he saw a “very tall, black male” walking up to the student body of the university’s athletic department.

He said the suspect yelled “Get him, get him” and “Get the f— out of here!”

He said he then heard three gunshots, and that the suspect ran down the street.

Police are not looking for any suspects at this point, the paper reports.

Police were still searching for the suspect after the shooting.

A person who answered the phone at the university told The Associated Times the student was in surgery for a gunshot wound.

He declined to elaborate on the incident.

Authorities were also searching for a man who allegedly pulled a gun on a young man outside a restaurant on Wednesday.

The victim told police that he was outside the restaurant at about 6:30 p.m. when he heard four to five gunshots and a woman screaming, according to The Associated Star-Ledger newspaper in New Jersey.

According to the New Jersey newspaper, a woman told police she heard two gunshots, then heard two more, and then two more.

The woman told the paper that when she went inside the restaurant, she saw a man with a gun and that she ran outside to get help.

She said she saw the man walk away.

Syracuse Police Chief Steven DeMoro said that investigators were trying to determine what happened.

“We are in the process of gathering information and gathering information, looking into this,” he told the Daily News.

“There is no threat to the community at this moment.

There’s no one who would want to do this.”

A number of people have called police in Syracuse to report a shooting, including the man who shot at the suspect and another man who heard the gunshots, police told the Associated Press.

Earlier this month, two people were injured when they were hit by a vehicle driven by a white man in the Bronx, New York.

The incident was reported around 6:15 p.s.m., according to police.

A second man, a young woman, was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition, the NYPD said.

Police have also been looking into the possibility that someone else was involved in the shooting, but have not ruled out that possibility.
