US newspapers are to get a Google News feed from Google after the search giant acquired The Washington Post.
The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and the New York Times are among the publications being updated.
The Washington Post said the new feed will allow them to “continue to deliver the news as they were originally published”.
The Google News Feed is the feed of the top stories and the most popular articles from all the leading US newspapers and online publishers.
Google has said it will be updating its news service to include the news feeds of other newspapers and news websites as well as the results from its search engine.
Google’s acquisition of the Post was announced in October.
It was the first major media company to take over a newspaper.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai had previously said the newspaper would be “one of the most valuable assets” of the company.
